Abstract In this study, the synthesis, and chemical-physical characterization of self-assembled positively charged multi-walled carbon nanotubes/graphene oxide (f-MWCNTs)/(GO)-nanohybrids into adsorptive PLA-based membranes were investigated. The application innovative PLA/f-MWCNTs/GO membrane was investigated for removal nutrients such as nitrogen (N) phosphorus (P) from both synthetic real wastewater by performing various performance tests. nanohybrid prepared electrostatic self-assembly f-MWCNTs negatively GO. amount loading in nanocomposite varied 0 to 6 wt%, its effects on nutrient water flux It is demonstrated that with addition only 1.5 wt% f-MWCNT/GO PLA matrix, increased 74% when compared unmodified membrane. Also, up 90.1 ± 3.4% 71.3 3.1% rates ammonium-nitrogen (NH 4 + -N) phosphate (PO 3− -P) ions achieved using raw wastewater, respectively. obtained results confirm practical usability proposed material fabrication treatment applications can open doors efficient sustainable methods removal.
